  1. 1 cup soya granules (makes 4-5 kebabs)
  2. 2 tbsp. whole wheat flour
  3. 1 onion, chopped
  4. 1 tomato, chopped
  5. 1 tsp. ginger-garlic, grated
  6. 1-2 green chilies, chopped
  7. 2-3 tbsp. coriander leaves, chopped
  8. to taste salt
  9. 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
  10. 1 tsp. coriander-cumin powder
  11. 1/2 tsp. garam masala powder
  12. 1 tbsp. red chilli flakes
  13. 1/2 tsp. pepper powder
  14. 1 tsp. lime juice
  15. 1 egg
  16. slices few tomato
  17. oil to shallow fry

Step-step makingSoya Chapli Kebab

  1. Soak the soya granules in hot water for 10 minutes. Squeeze out the water and blend till smooth. Mix with the rest of the ingredients (except tomato slices and oil).

  2. Divide into large equal size portions. Give a shape of a patty and place a slice of tomato on each.

  3. Shallow fry in some oil till done on both sides, Drain on a kitchen towel.
