  1. 1 and 1/2 cups sona masoori rice cleaned, washed, soaked in water for 20 minutes
  2. 1 medium potato chopped in 1″
  3. 3 medium tomatoes finely chopped
  4. 2 cups finely cut veggies like capsicum, carrot, cabbage and beans
  5. 1 tbsp butter
  6. 1 tsp olive oil
  7. 1 tsp butter
  8. 1 tsp sahi zeera/ cumin seeds
  9. 1 green chilli minced
  10. 1 and 1/2 tsp grated ginger
  11. 1 tsp minced garlic
  12. 1/3 tsp turmeric powder
  13. 1 tsp coriander powder
  14. 1/2 tsp chat masala
  15. 1 tsp crushed kasoori methi
  16. 1 tsp pav bhaji masala
  17. as needed Salt
  18. 1 tsp lemon juice
  19. 2 and 1/2 cup water

Step-step making Recipes easy to make Vegetable masala Pulao

  1. Take 1 tbsp butter and olive oil in a pressure cooker. Heat in low medium flame.

  2. Add sahi zeera and crackle. Fry onion and chopped green chilli till translucent.

  3. Add ginger, garlic and potatoes and cook for in low medium flame till rawness of garlic gone and potatoes half cooked.

  4. Mix chopped tomatoes, turmeric and salt. Cook till soft and mushy.

  5. Add rest of the dry masala and cook for a minute. Mix the chopped veggies now.

  6. Mix the soaked rice, water and 1 tsp butter, lemon juice.Mix everything well carefully so as to avoid breaking of rice.

  7. Bring to boil and cook for 1 whistle. Let the cooker release pressure.
