  2. 1/2 cup cubed pumpkin
  3. 5-6 parwal (pointed gourd)
  4. 1 potato cubed
  5. 5-6 pieces cubed brinjal
  6. 1 onion chopped
  7. 1 tsp garlic paste
  8. 1/2 tsp turmeric
  9. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  10. 1 dry red chilli
  11. 1/2 tsp paanch phoron/ 5 spice mix
  12. To taste salt and sugar
  13. 2 tbsp mustard oil

  1. Wash thoroughly pui shaag and drain the water completely.Slice the stems separately.Heat oil and add paanch phoron and 1 dry red chilli.When they crackle,add the chopped onion and garlic paste.Lightly fry and add the cubed veggies.Add the sliced pui stems and fry on low flame.Add red chilli powder,turmeric,salt and sugar to taste.Toss all.Add 1 cup water and cook covered on low flame till half done.Now add the pui leaves and toss.
