  1. 8-10 kakrol / kantola, sliced
  2. to taste salt
  3. 1/4 tsp. turmeric powder
  4. as required oil to deep fry
  5. 1 tsp coriander leaves, chopped

  1. Mix together sliced kakrol with salt and turmeric powder.

  2. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry them in batches till golden in colour. Drain on a kitchen towel.

  3. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve as appetizers with kasundi / green chutney.
