The ingredients for making Recipes easy to make Tiranga Dessert-Carrot Coconut Bottlegourd Halwa

  1. For carrot Halwa:-
  2. 1 Cup grated carrot
  3. 2 tbsp sugar
  4. 1/2 cup milk
  5. 2 tsp dry carrot homemade powder (u can use few drops of orange food colour)
  6. For coconut Halwa:-
  7. 1 Cup dry dessicated coconut
  8. 1/2 cup milk
  9. 2 tbsp sugar
  10. 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  11. For Bottlegourd Halwa:-
  12. 1 cup grated Bottlegourd(lauki)
  13. 1/2 cup milk
  14. 2 tbsp sugar
  15. 1/2 tsp cardamom Powder
  16. 3 tsp Natural Spinach colour(made by blending 8-10 Spinach leaves in mixi jar then strained.)
  17. For For garnishing:-
  18. as required Chopped dryfruits

  1. Wash and blend 8-10 fresh Spinach leaves in a blender and blend it into puree.Strain it.keep aside.Keep all Ingredients ready.Squeeze out the water from grated Bottlegourd.

  2. In a non stick pan,add Coconut,milk,sugar and Heat it by continuously stirring it till it becomes thick and starts leaving the pan.add cardamom Powder and mix well.Tranafer it to a Plate.

In the same pan add grated carrot,sugar,milk and keep on stirring till it becomes thick.Add dry carrot powder and mix well.Transfer in a Plate.Let it cool.In another pan take grated bottlegourd, add milk,sugar and cardamon powder.Keep on stirring till it becomes thick.Add spinach green colour and mix well.Transfer it in a Plate and let it cool.In a serving plate, arrange all Halwas as we have tricolours in our flag.Garnish with chopped Dry fruits and keep in fridge for 30 mins to set.Then serve
