  1. 2 cups all purpose flour
  2. 3/4 cup sugar
  3. 1 cup bluband
  4. 2-3 tbsp baking powder
  5. 4 eggs
  6. 1 pinch salt
  7. 1/2-1 cup milk
  8. 1 tsp ginger paste
  9. 1/2 kg icing sugar
  10. 1/4 cup margarine
  11. 1 drop strawberry red color

  1. Cream the margarine and the sugar

  2. Break in the eggs one by one as you whisk

  3. In a separate bowl, drive all the other dry ingredients

  4. Add in the seived ingredients spoon by spoon as you use a wooden spatula to mix in one direction.

  5. Add in the milk and the ginger paste and whisk to a smooth batter.

  6. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 40 – 50 minutes

  7. Check the cake if well done by using a toothpick to prick to the middle.

  9. Whisk some icing sugar and some margarine to a nice smooth paste. Add in a drop of strawberry red and mix. This will make it pinkish.

  10. Smear over the cake just to cover the nakedness.
