1 cup tur dal

1 cup wheat flour

1 tbsp besan

1 tbsp groundnuts

1 tomato

2 green chilli

3-4 dried round red chilli

1 tbsp kokam

3 tbsp jaggery

1 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp red chilli powder

2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder

8-10 curry leaves

1 tsp dhaniya jeera powder

2-3 tsp salt

as required Oil

1/2 tsp mustard seed

1/2 tsp whole jeera

1/4 tsp methi dana

1/2 tsp ajwain

1/2 tsp hing

1 tbsp coriander leaves

1 onions chopped for garnishing

2 tbsp ghee
Step-step making Recipes easy to make Dal dhokli

Soak tur dal for 1/2 hr. Then add groundnut, tomato and dal, pressure cooker it for 3 whistles

Take besan, wheat flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, ajwain and oil. Knead a semi soft dough.

When the dal is done, open the lid, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, dhaniya jeera powder, salt.

Now take ghee, heat and add mustard seed, jeera, methi dana, hing, green chilli, dried round chilli, curry leaves and kashmiri red chilli powder, add the seasoning to the dal. Add jaggery and kokam. Allow it to boil.

Now take the dough, divide it into small balls, roll it and with a knife cut in square or diamond shape. Add it to the dal. Boil till done. Now chop onions, serve in the plate, garnish with coriander leaves and onions. And drop a spoon of pure ghee and eat it hot hot.
