  1. 1 cup tur dal
  2. 1 cup wheat flour
  3. 1 tbsp besan
  4. 1 tbsp groundnuts
  5. 1 tomato
  6. 2 green chilli
  7. 3-4 dried round red chilli
  8. 1 tbsp kokam
  9. 3 tbsp jaggery
  10. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  11. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  12. 2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  13. 8-10 curry leaves
  14. 1 tsp dhaniya jeera powder
  15. 2-3 tsp salt
  16. as required Oil
  17. 1/2 tsp mustard seed
  18. 1/2 tsp whole jeera
  19. 1/4 tsp methi dana
  20. 1/2 tsp ajwain
  21. 1/2 tsp hing
  22. 1 tbsp coriander leaves
  23. 1 onions chopped for garnishing
  24. 2 tbsp ghee

Step-step making Recipes easy to make Dal dhokli

  1. Soak tur dal for 1/2 hr. Then add groundnut, tomato and dal, pressure cooker it for 3 whistles

  2. Take besan, wheat flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, ajwain and oil. Knead a semi soft dough.

  3. When the dal is done, open the lid, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, dhaniya jeera powder, salt.

  4. Now take ghee, heat and add mustard seed, jeera, methi dana, hing, green chilli, dried round chilli, curry leaves and kashmiri red chilli powder, add the seasoning to the dal. Add jaggery and kokam. Allow it to boil.

  5. Now take the dough, divide it into small balls, roll it and with a knife cut in square or diamond shape. Add it to the dal. Boil till done. Now chop onions, serve in the plate, garnish with coriander leaves and onions. And drop a spoon of pure ghee and eat it hot hot.
