  1. 1/2 cup dhokla batter (very sour)
  2. 1/4 cup water
  3. as required Salt
  4. as required Oil for deep fry
  5. as per taste Red chilli powder
  6. 1 Finely chopped onions
  7. few Green chilli chopped

Step-step making Recipes easy to make Gujju locho

  1. In dhokla batter, add water & salt and make very watery batter. (I used very sour and firmented twise batter, once used and then again firmented on next day. That extra sourness gives a very nice hint of taste with it’s own sweetness.) Add into preheated steamer and steam for 8-10 mins.

  2. Remove from steam and directly mix it with fork when it’s hot, add oil as needed, sprinkle some chilli powder and chopped onions. Last at serving, add green chilli chopped and if needed some salt and red chilli powder too. Serve hot.
